This Return Policy explains the conditions under which Jointaemovement provides refunds, credits, or cancellations for Daily Movement physical activity studio products purchased through jointaemovement.world or directly at our Melbourne studio. Our products include the Single Session Pass, Monthly Movement Plan, and Private Coaching Block.
1. Overview
Studio passes and coaching blocks are digital service products that grant access to coached physical activity sessions at 40/37-39 Albert Rd, Melbourne VIC 3004, Australia. Because sessions involve scheduled coach time and limited studio capacity, refund eligibility depends on whether the Product has been activated, how many sessions have been used, and the reason for the request. This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Return Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If a Product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy including repair, replacement, or refund. Service guarantees include that sessions will be provided with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for their described purpose as physical activity coaching.
3. Single Session Pass
The Single Session Pass priced at thirty-two Australian dollars including GST grants one guided group session valid for fourteen days from activation.
- Full refund: available if the pass has not been activated and a written request is received within seven days of purchase.
- Partial credit: if the pass was activated but the scheduled session was cancelled by Jointaemovement, a rescheduled session or full refund will be offered at your choice.
- No refund: once the session has been attended or the fourteen-day validity period has expired without attendance, the pass is considered fully consumed.
- Late cancellation: cancellations within four hours of the booked session time forfeit the pass without refund as stated in our Terms of Use.
4. Monthly Movement Plan
The Monthly Movement Plan priced at one hundred fifty-nine Australian dollars including GST provides eight sessions over thirty days plus open studio access and a monthly progress review.
- Cooling-off refund: if no sessions have been booked or attended within seventy-two hours of purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting team@jointaemovement.world.
- Pro-rata credit: after the cooling-off period, unused session credits may be converted to studio credit at a rate of seventeen Australian dollars per remaining session, minus a fifteen Australian dollar administrative fee, provided at least four sessions remain unused.
- Pause option: members may pause the plan once per calendar year for up to fourteen days due to travel or injury, extending the thirty-day window accordingly with written notice.
- No refund: after four or more sessions have been used, monetary refunds are not available except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Private Coaching Block
The Private Coaching Block priced at three hundred forty-five Australian dollars including GST includes four one-on-one sessions, a written movement plan, and digital reference materials.
- Full refund: available if no coaching sessions have been scheduled within seven days of purchase.
- Partial refund: if one session has been completed, a refund of two hundred forty Australian dollars may be issued upon request, reflecting delivery of the initial assessment and plan.
- Credit transfer: unused sessions beyond the first may be converted to group session credits at a rate of seventy Australian dollars per remaining private session.
- Expiry: all four sessions must be completed within sixty days of purchase. Extensions require written approval and may incur a twenty Australian dollar reactivation fee.
6. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers for the Single Session Pass and Monthly Movement Plan are non-refundable once issued to the purchaser. The recipient may use the voucher value toward any eligible Product. If the recipient cannot attend, the voucher may be transferred once to another person with written notice to Jointaemovement. Vouchers expire twelve months from the date of issue.
7. Corporate and Group Purchases
Corporate packages for teams of six or more are subject to separate written agreements. Refund terms in those agreements take precedence over this policy where they differ. Standard corporate blocks that remain unused thirty days after the agreed start date may be eligible for a fifty percent credit toward future bookings.
8. How to Request a Refund or Credit
To initiate a return request, contact Jointaemovement with the following information:
- Your full name and email address associated with the purchase.
- Product name and purchase date.
- Transaction reference or receipt number if available.
- Reason for the request and preferred remedy (refund, credit, or rescheduling).

9. Processing Timeframes
We acknowledge refund requests within two business days. Approved refunds are processed within ten business days to the original payment method. Bank processing times may add an additional three to five business days. Studio credits are applied to your member account within one business day of approval and remain valid for six months.
10. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds and credits are not available in the following situations except where the Australian Consumer Law provides otherwise:
- Change of mind after attending one or more sessions under the purchased Product.
- Failure to attend booked sessions without timely cancellation.
- Suspension or termination of Studio access due to conduct violations described in our Terms of Use.
- Products purchased at a promotional discount rate of thirty percent or greater, unless the Product is faulty or not delivered as described.
- Digital reference materials included with the Private Coaching Block once the written plan has been delivered.
11. Studio Cancellations by Us
If Jointaemovement cancels a session due to coach unavailability, equipment failure, or studio closure, affected Members will be offered priority rescheduling at no additional cost. If rescheduling is not possible within a reasonable timeframe, a full credit or refund will be issued for the affected session credit. Extended closures exceeding seven consecutive days will trigger pro-rata credits for active Monthly Movement Plan holders.
12. Chargebacks
We encourage Members to contact us before initiating a payment chargeback so we can resolve concerns directly. Unauthorised chargebacks for correctly delivered services may result in account suspension and recovery of associated fees. We provide transaction records and attendance logs to payment providers when disputing invalid chargeback claims.
13. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with our response to a return request, you may escalate the matter by writing to our management team at team@jointaemovement.world with the subject line Return Dispute. We aim to resolve escalated matters within fifteen business days. You may also contact Consumer Affairs Victoria or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for guidance on your rights.
14. Policy Updates
Jointaemovement may revise this Return Policy to reflect changes in our studio products or legal requirements. The current version is published at jointaemovement.world/return.html. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated date unless otherwise stated.
